Rushing August

Gosh! Time flew so fast without realizing it, tomorrow will be the first day of August. In conclusion, I only got +/- 40 more days to spend here, in Jakarta. Until then I'll be leaving Indonesia, and heading forward to Seattle. Starting a new life as a college students *woohh cheesy* at North Seattle Community College. Majoring architecture.
For sure; I am going to miss my friends, terribly! I could hardly imagine I could enjoy my days there without their laughter.
After all, this is my last chance and learn how to be responsible for my own sake...

The artwork belongs to Muqliza Imroni, swiftly check her out, God blessed her soul with amazing talents and her artworks are cool and edgy!

Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain

Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain is a 2001 French film directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and starring Audrey Tautou as Amélie Poulain. Yann Tiersen – musical genius as compared to Chopin, Erik Satie, Phillip Glass and Michael Nyman – scored the soundtrack. The trailler above contains Tiersen's, "La Valse d'Amélie".
Beautifully shot, shame on me I just watched it last night. If you are same as I was, you should grab fast this film. A very delicate film to watch.

Yé-yé

For today, my daily music consume (clockwise): Vashti Bunyan - Some Things Just Stick in Your Mind, Yann Tiersen - Les Retrouvailles, Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg - Jane Birkin/Serge Gainsbourg, Charlotte Gainsbourg - 5:55, Carla Bruni - Comme si de rien n'était, Françoise Hardy - Clair Obscur

James Righton is Love

I just found James Righton's blog, though kinda too late for me to notice. Oh my, oh my he swayed me away; beside his cuteness and musical ability, he's talented in photography too. Whatsoever, it takes triple, and I melt right now. And I'll pray, all damn day, every day, I could meet him...

Native Korean Rock & The Fishnets

Native Korean Rock & The Fishnets is Karen O’s latest ride through the tunnel of love. Written over the last couple of years, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' lead vocalist has collaborated with a gaggle of fellow mover and shakers from New York City to produce this love-song side-project. They had their first show last night in the city that never sleeps but you can sample the tracks over at their MySpace today.

This side solo project of hers is expected with high drama, and high stakes in two intimate performances, and did NOT have anything to do with Yeah Yeah Yeahs. As quote by Karen O, herself:

Does Native Korean Rock have anything to do with Yeah Yeah Yeahs? NO
Are these the leaked demos of years ago? NO

Outer-space Voyage into the Galaxy

Midnight Juggernauts will release their new remixes of their single "Into the Galaxy" on 11th August on iTunes and Institubes. The best part that I couldn't help myself believing is this single will be containing remixes by Danger, Architecture in Helsinki, Metronomy, Shy Child, Chateau Marmont and Grandmaster Flash. Woohoooooo! Isn't that just great with a big G? Better than waiting until 11th August, Disco Dust have got both the Grandmaster Flash and the Chateau Marmont remixes, and they generously share it, so do hurry for downloading!

Sweating Palms and Gasping Breath

James Righton (Klaxons' co-vocalist and keyboardist)

He is the magick-al vaneer itself – a multitalented wunderkinder, screw all the bollocks for not adoring him!

Andrew VanWyngarden (MGMT's vocalist)

He shocked me like an electric eel, turned me on with his electric feel. Melting me away to his tribal world. He is love :D :D

Ready, Set, Go!

I have a good day. Woooooot wooot my visa already accepted, which means I am ready to go! Seattle, here I come! Aaaand I was just finished watching first season of Life, and I'm desperately looking forward for the second season. Gah, I feel kinda lazy right now, although tomorrow I'm going to have a TOEFL test at 10 AM tee-hee... And, I don't feel like blogging. So I'll be back doing my TOEFL practice, see ya!

P.S. My deepest sympathy to Winston Renaldo. May you rest in peace, and may God accept you on His side. :'( :'( So long, my childhood friend!
