Together, the "skinny" pop raving trio, Emma, Mia and Malin are ready to carry you away with their coolest attitude packed with their catchy tunes. Bringing you, a little bit sense of M.I.A., Cansei de Ser Sexy, YELLE, Le Tigre, Junior Senior mixed together. Sou Brette Jewellery, Fiction Romance (Teaser)

The "Fiction Romance" collection of Sou Brette Jewellery is still on progress, and it will be out next November with her own new website. I'm really curious and have a high expectation for her next collection, since Muqliza Imroni always creates edgy jewellery, with unexpected design. I'm really impressed by her creative mind.

And here are some of her previous collection, "Wolf Parade", "Squared and Disfigured", and "Phantasmagoria":

Je t'aime Françoise Hardy!

A blast from the past... I've always been musing on Françoise Hardy from time-to-time. For me, she's a forever icon and listed in my favorites next to Nico, Edie Sedgwick, and Jane Birkin. Maybe, if you realized that my last 2 posts were about French music (Housse de Racket and YELLE) you may considered me as a Francophile. I think, maybe I am ;p

Yell a YELLE!

YELLE is coming to Seattle next Oct 27th, and the ticket's price is only 15$ but shit, it's only sold to 21+. I got jealous when I watched the tour teaser, above. Man, how I wish I were 5 years older. Oh, and her "Ce Jeu" vinyl will be available soon, gosh I'm looking forward for it! For me, she's like French version of M.I.A.

Elephants... Teeth Sinking into Heart

I hope, I'm not too late to post this. Rachael Yamagata just released her second full-length album, Elephants... Teeth Sinking into Heart last October 7th. The album is split into two CDs, that were very contrast to each other. If you are head over heels for Sara Bareilles, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, or even Norah Jones. Rachael Yamagata will fit your ear perfectly.

Smash with de Racket!

Housse de Racket - Oh Yeah !

My palms are over sweating for Housse de Racket's French accent. Next October 13th their first album, Forty Love will be out, and they will throw their own kickoff in Paris next October 29th. Gaze their new très magnifique video, "Oh Yeah!" and smash back their song on iTunes.

I Fancy

I really fancy this origami fold album, it's really vintage-ish and very unique. The scanned photographs were shaped in circles, and each triangles section were filled with ephemera and mementoes of these people: buttons, pressed flowers, bits of jewelry and lace, old letters, stamps, shells, vintage images, and even locks of hair! If you're interested for this album, contact Paperantix via email, it will cost you about $100. I'm really inspired, maybe I can make them by my own. I think it will be out of the box for your Sweet Seventeen birthday invitations.

Spring Eye Cravers

Lanvin Spring 2009

Paris Fashion Week may already passed, but I still feeling the euphoria when it comes to fashion magic. From all the Spring 2009 collections, my eyes are craving for Lanvin. Watch out people, drapery and one shouldered spring dress are finally in again. This video is freshly posted by STYLE.COM just yesterday.

Native Korean Rock and the Fishnets' Kickoff!

Remember Native Korean Rock and the Fishnets? They had performed their debut show at Union Pool in Williamsburg a month ago. Sorry for the lack of post, I forgot to post this down. Based on "another" Karen's project, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Karen’s edgy banshee vocals is starkly juxtaposed with their sweet tune. It was a thrilled amazement that I experienced as I watched them on YouTube. I love their sailor-y outfits and Karen O was (and always) amazing. Oh boy, how I wish I didn't miss their show and flied swiftly away to East Coast. The debut show was a big success, as obviously indicated by their sold-out-tickets for two nights in a row.
